AI Engineer

Build AI features that solve real operational problems, from early experiments through production rollout.

The role

We are looking for an AI engineer who can turn an unclear business problem into a dependable product feature. You will work with our product team, engineers, and clients to decide where AI helps and where conventional software works better.

This is a hands-on role. You will build fast prototypes, measure the results, and then add the systems a model needs in production: data pipelines, evaluations, guardrails, monitoring, and a clear user experience.

What you will do

Design and ship AI-powered features for web, mobile, and internal products.
Build retrieval, extraction, classification, and agentic workflows around modern language models.
Create evaluation datasets and practical measures for quality, latency, and cost.
Work with product and design to make uncertain model behavior understandable to users.
Integrate third-party model providers and, when useful, open-source models.
Review production results, investigate failures, and improve the system over time.
Speak with clients and explain technical choices without hiding behind jargon.

What we need

Strong Python skills and experience shipping production software.
Practical experience building with LLM APIs, embeddings, vector search, or retrieval-augmented generation.
A solid understanding of APIs, databases, queues, cloud infrastructure, and software testing.
Good judgment about model limitations, privacy, security, and failure handling.
The ability to work without close supervision, share progress, and ask direct questions.
Professional written and spoken English.

Useful, but not required

TypeScript and React or Next.js.
Structured output, tool calling, and multi-step agent workflows.
Model fine-tuning, traditional machine learning, or data engineering.
Observability and evaluation tools for AI systems.
Experience working with clients or mixed product teams.
