Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Own complex product work end to end and help a small engineering team make sound technical decisions.

The role

We are looking for a senior engineer who is comfortable across the product stack. You will help shape the approach, build the important parts, and speak with the client often enough to check that the work solves the right problem.

You will make technical decisions, explain the tradeoffs, review other people’s work, and leave the product maintainable after launch.

What you will do

Lead the implementation of web products from discovery through release.
Design APIs, data models, background jobs, and frontend architecture.
Break ambiguous features into clear, testable pieces of work.
Review code and help other engineers improve their technical judgment.
Work directly with clients, designers, and product leads throughout delivery.
Improve reliability, performance, security, and developer experience.
Take responsibility for releases and production issues when they arise.

What we need

Several years of professional experience building and maintaining web products.
Strong TypeScript or JavaScript skills and experience with a modern frontend framework.
Backend experience with Node.js, Python, or a comparable server-side stack.
Confidence with relational databases, API design, testing, and cloud deployment.
The ability to explain decisions to technical and nontechnical people.
Professional written and spoken English.

Useful, but not required

Next.js, React, NestJS, or FastAPI.
AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Mobile development or AI product integrations.
Technical leadership on a small team that works with clients.
Building products in regulated industries or products with complex operations.
